IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING A MORTGAGE LOAN
To help us prevent fraud and to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who applies for and/or obtains a mortgage loan.
What this means for you: When you apply for and/or obtain a mortgage loan, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

We understand that our customers furnish sensitive information to us in the course of daily business, and we are committed to treating such information responsibly. TYPES OF INFORMATION THE LENDER COLLECTS:
We collect nonpublic personal information from many sources. We collect nonpublic personal information directly from consumers on various applications and forms, for example, loan applications, and requests for information about products and services.
We collect information as a result of transactions between us and our customers and as a result of providing a product or service to our customers. This includes transaction information from other loans between us and our customers.
We collect information from credit reporting agencies.
Nonpublic personal information does not include that which we obtain from government records, widely distributed media, or government-mandated disclosures.
TYPES OF INFORMATION THE LENDER DISCLOSES:
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal financial information about our current or former customers to nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law.
PROTECTION OF SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS
Social Security numbers are classified as “Confidential” information under the Geo-Corp, Inc. Security Policy. As such, Social Security numbers may only be accessed by and disclosed to Geo-Corp Team Members and others with a legitimate business “need to know” in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Social Security numbers, whether in paper or electronic form, are subject to physical, electronic and procedural safeguards and must be stored, transmitted and disposed of in accordance with the provisions of the Information Security Policy applicable to Confidential information. These restrictions apply to all Social Security numbers collected or retained by Geo-Corp in connection with customer, employee or other relationships.
